Airports. Ceaseless bustle.
My flight is delayed. Only a bit. This allowed me the time to find a corner to meditate. In my meditation, I pondered the concept of balance. As a Pilates Coach AND as a recovering work-a-holic, the term balance carries several meanings for me.
The dictionary defines it as such:
bal-ance, noun:
1. an even distribution of weight enabling someone or something to remain upright and steady.
Functionally, this is true. The Pilates Method can teach techniques for the body to remain steady.
Might we also ponder what it means to have balance between meaningful work, spontaneous play, and adoring Love?
